Iron Man Update 2010
I would like to say a massive thank you to all and everyone who sponsored me on my Ironman journey which took 13 hours, 59 minutes and 23 seconds to be exact. I have never put my body through anything like this before and can honestly say that at this point in time cannot see me doing so again soon. (Never say never though). Without going into details I now know how Paula Ratcliffe feels (I don’t mean as an Olympic or World champion) and swallowing a large fly induced a process of ongoing vomiting for the final 2 miles of the marathon.

I am really pleased to announce that so far we have raised just over £1500 and I will keep you all informed of what is happening in regards to Muhammet and the support process of fitting the prosthetics. We are trying to arrange for him to come over before the end of the year to begin the fitting of his new limbs.
I would just like to say a special thank you to my family for their ongoing support throughout my training and also to Sean Heal from Sporting Signs who kindly gave up his weekend in order to chauffer me home from Nottingham, Mike from Coaching for Hope and Enver from Tosca’s Restaurant and founder of SKILS, who also came down to cheer me on. I don’t think I would have made it without your support.
Once again thank you to everyone!
